A well designed home should provide comfort, aesthetic appeal, and structural integrity. But most of all, it should enable you to live your best and healthiest life.
Sally is based in North Canterbury and provides Architectural Design Services for unique new homes, additions, alterations, and renovations.
Since joining the architectural design industry in 1992, Sally has enjoyed working on a huge number of new builds and design projects, and have many satisfied customers throughout North Canterbury and beyond.
As well as many transformations of existing houses from dysfunctional to fabulous, her design experience includes new family homes, townhouses, earth block houses, farm homesteads and sheds, motels, studios, aircraft hangars, and even a luxury treehouse which featured on Grand Designs.
Sally is a Licensed Building Practitioner with a Design 2 License, and established her own company Architectural Draughting & Design Ltd in 2004. Through her Professional Membership of Architectural Designers NZ (ADNZ), Sally keeps up to date with all the latest innovations in the building industry.
When it comes to any building proposal, Sally designs with her client’s long-term wellbeing as the primary concern. She will listen to your ideas, needs and dreams, and then use her experience, knowledge and innovative flair to evolve concepts into buildable reality.
With a strong focus on sustainability in construction, energy efficiency, and designing comfortable, healthy, and adaptable homes, Sally works within her client’s budget. She strongly recommend clients aim above the building code minimums to get the maximum benefit from their investment.
After an initial client consultation she will provide a fee proposal which explains the various stages of the architectural process. Costs vary according to the complexity and nature of the proposed work.
Sally travels frequently between her home base in Christchurch throughout the Waimakariri, Hurunui and Kaikoura Districts keeping tabs on projects and meeting clients wherever suits best.
Sally’s primary office is located at 7 Millpond Place, Waitikiri, Christchurch. She also has office space in Kaikoura and uses Niche Shared Space for Rangiora meetings. Meetings are by appointment only.
